What to watch on TV tonight: Wednesday
DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
The Heat (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)
Bridesmaids’ Paul Feig directs this buddy cop film, starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy as the prerequisite polar opposites. Good for a few LOLs.
The Restaurant (TV3, 9pm)
Model Pippa O’Connor takes charge of Marco Pierre White’s restaurant this week – she’s serving up lobster, lamb fillet and an ‘elderflower dessert tasting plate’ in the hopes of impressing the diners. She’ll do well to beat former Republic of Ireland footballer Kevin Kilbane, who scored four stars last week. #therestaurant
Dunblane: Our Story (BBC2, 9pm)
Twenty years after 16 pupils and their teacher were shot dead at a Scottish primary school, the survivors speak about their harrowing memories of that day. A bleak but necessary documentary. #dunblane
Everybody’s talking about: Game of Thrones
The trailer for the sixth season is here, featuring music from Irish singer-songwriter James Vincent McMorrow. Jon Snow looks VERY dead, sorry2say.
But you never know what might happen come April 24…
